Slogan writing competition organized on World Hindi Day

'World Hindi Day' was celebrated at Government Women's College, Sonepat on Tuesday. On this occasion, 'Slogan Writing Competition' was organized in the college in which girl students participated enthusiastically. In this competition, Priyanshu (BA 2nd year), Chanchal (BA 3rd year) 2nd position and Kanika and Deepanshi (BA 2nd year) got the 3rd position. On this occasion, Principal of the college, Dr. Dilbag Singh Jakhar, while explaining the importance of World Hindi Day to the girl students, told that the first World Hindi Conference was organized in Nagpur on January 10, 1979, since then this day is celebrated as World Hindi Day. Is. In fact, the purpose of World Hindi Day is to spread the propaganda of Hindi in the world, to generate affection towards Hindi language and to present Hindi as a world language. All of us should also make maximum use of Hindi language and make every possible effort for its promotion, only then we can establish Hindi language as a world language. This competition was organized by the Hindi department of the college. Dr. Vandana Nasa, Dr. Rekha Raheja and Mrs. Poonam Tomar played the role of the jury. All the staff members were present on this occasion.
